This expansion for Magic: The Gathering returns to the world of Zendikar after the defeat of the Eldrazi menace in Oath of the Gatewatch. The skyclaves, floating ruins from an ancient Kor civilization, have risen into the air once more after being buried for millennia. Priceless artifacts lie within, and adventurers are already mounting treasure-hunting expeditions. Among the treasure hunters is the Kor planeswalker Nahiri, who has a plan to bring Zendikar back to its old glory days...at any cost.
Zendikar Rising sees the return of player favorite mechanics Kicker and Landfall, and introduces Party, a new twist on allies. Also featured in the set are special modal double-faced cards that can be played either as lands or spells.
The set contains 280 cards (101 commons, 80 uncommons, 64 rares, 20 mythic rares, and 15 full-art basic lands).
