Offworld Empires (2025)

Offworld Empires is a light 4X space strategy game for 2 to 4 players. Each player chooses a unique space civilization with its own strengths and weaknesses and builds their space empire in a far flung galaxy.

At the head of your galactic empire, you will explore an unknown galaxy full of various planets, asteroids, wormholes, and much more. Use colony ships to settle on new planets and gather their resources, or send your marines to pacify those that resist your expansion.

Erect buildings to harvest food and grow your population of workers, search for new technologies from a unique tech wheel, assemble spaceships to secure your own airspace or battle enemy fleets, and appoint senators to vote military or economic laws that will give you an edge over your opponents.

The customized worker placement mechanism is a key point of the game. Every player can build the buildings of their liking – provided they have the necessary resources – and assign their workers to them to maximize their efficiency. You need to find the proper balance between population growth, scientific research and raw production, or choose to specialize in a single domain at the expense of others.
