Along the numbered path players encounter favourable or detrimental problems such as "take an extra turn" or "Return to Croydon for a new plane". The winner is the first to arrive in Darwin, Australia.

Published in Victoria, Australia, the playing map and aircraft path patriotically highlight the influence of British colonial rule during the late 20's and early 30's. Further to this it lists the pioneering aviators who made the journey during the early 20th century up to Amy Johnson in 1930.
