Constellations is based on the magic number square devised in the 15th century by Albrecht Durera in which each row and column and long diagonal sum to 34. Other patterns of four squares also sum to 34. These are called "Constellations". Each round, players take turns placing markers on the board until one of them has markers covering the four points of a constellation. The card with that constellation on it is awarded to the winner of the round. If it is the top card of the deck, then the game is over. Otherwise, players play another round. Most cards and points at the end of the game wins. —user summary
