Hamster Ball Challenge (2014)

Race down the slopes in your hamster ball while passing checkpoints and avoiding obstacles that could give you a nasty headache and end your hopes to be declared Hamster Ball Champion! Hamster Ball Challenge! is a 2-player racing microgame consisting of 8 counters and a custom deck of 30 cards. On each turn, players choose one of three actions: place a track card, change speed, or move. Track cards contain goals, obstacles, and variable slopes. Increasing speed moves hamsters more quickly to the finish lessens control of the hamster ball. Players may also ram each other. The game ends when a hamster reaches the finish, when a hamster is disqualified, or when a hamster ball is destroyed. Points are given for each checkpoint passed. Five additional points are given to hamsters that reach the finish. The racer with the most points is declared Hamster Ball Champion!
