Saratoga (1996)

Saratoga is a board game that represents air-naval military maneuvers. Each player has 4 ships (one aircraft carrier, two cruisers and one destroyer), 12 jets and 6 surface-to-surface missiles. On land area are airport, port, launchers of missiles and anti-aircraft guns. The main characteristic is that the game board is covered with a net of equilateral triangles. Vertices of these triangles are points at which the players hold position and move figurines. Players have task to shoot at the opponent's ships and planes, as well as targets on its territory. The destroyer is sunk when received one hit. The carrier and cruiser are sunk when they receive 3 hits. Each hit in any target counts as one point. The game lasts as long as players have airplanes, ships and missiles to shoot at opponent. The winner is the player who has the best ratio of given and received hits.
