Bird Cage
"Bird Cage" is an abstract connection game on a staggered grid where players try to link opposite sides. Originally designed by engineer Claude Shannon and later published as "Bridg-It", it is based on the Shannon switching game. Two competing players either claim edges to build a continuous path or remove edges to block the connection.
