Rogue! is a designy, dungeon-diving, strategic card game of backstabbing, trickery, and deceit.
You and your friends are rogues (backstabbing, greedy thieves) and you're about to enter a dungeon where you have one goal: make it out with more loot than anyone else. You'll fight grotesque and weird monsters, suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and, worst of all, you'll have to deal with the other two-faced lowlifes in the dungeon: your fellow players.
Players take turns drawing from THE DUNGEON DECK. If you draw a draw a LOOT card, it's your lucky day. A FORTUNE card can lead to success or disaster. If you draw a MONSTER card, you'll be forced to discard some of your precious LOOT. Fortunately, you've got ROGUE cards. These are the bread and butter of the game. Your bag of tricks. ROGUE cards can be used to divert monster damage to other players, steal loot, peek at and rearrange dungeon cards, and lay deadly boobytraps for other players.
When the last card from THE DUNGEON is drawn, the player with the highest total value of LOOT cards wins.
