The players seek to assemble different Foods in order to present the best buffet.
The game is played in several round, continuing until no one has played a card after everyone at the table has had a turn.
Each player, during their turn can play 1 Animal card from their hand if it beats the one at the top of the discard pile.
There are 3 types of cards:
- The Cat must be played over/beats the Mouse
- The Mouse must be played over/beats the Elephant
- The Elephant must be played over/beats the Cat
The player is also allowed to pass even though a playable card is in the hand, it is called bluffing.
At the beginning of the next turn, the player can accuse the previous player to have bluffed.
If the accuser is right, the accuser take 1 Animal card from the bluffer's hand, if the accuser is wrong, the accused player can take a card in the accuser's hand.
The last player to have played 1 Animal card wins that round and the prize (1 Food card).
The game proceeds until one player gather 1 Food card of each type: Maki, Sushi and Onigiri.
