The Sherlock Holmes Puzzle Case (2014)

Step into the shoes of Doctor Watson A quiz game where players take turns attempting to answer puzzling questions in order to earn points. On their turn, a player chooses a card from one of four piles each representing a different difficulty level. The player then turns a sand timer and if they can correctly answer the question in time they score points. Either way, play then passes to the next player. More difficult questions are worth more points and each player has a single Moriarty card and a Sherlock card which can each be used once per game to score in additional ways. A Moriarty card is used at the start of another players turn as a bet that they will not answer the question correctly (or in time). If the bet is correct, the Moriarty player earns the points for the question. A Sherlock card can be used on your own turn to make the question worth double the points. However, it must be played before reading the question!
