The Catino Class Fast Armed Trader is a 400 ton cargo vessel, with exceptional acceleration and armament, but limited Jump capacity. It is intended for use in higher risk areas where piracy is rife, rather than on the Imperial fringe where its Jump-1 capability is a limitation. The ship is well equipped with weapons, in 2 x triple Fusion Turrets, Port and Starboard; a double Laser/Missile Turret on the Dorsal surface (with a generous compliment of missiles) and a double Pulse Laser Turret on the Ventral surface.
