The Doom King is a story roleplaying game about a tired leader who has brought his nation to the edge of ruin. The characters are advisors, confidantes, glad-handers, loyalists, and sycophants insulating their leader from his failed kingdom. All the while, the king makes worse and worse decisions for the realm. Is it madness or sheer ignorance that drives the king? Can the characters save the kingdom from perdition? Or will the king drag them all down with him?
