"Firewall is a hacking themed game designed for 2-4 players. Each player is trying to hack into the same node by controlling the most ports. Only one hacker comes out on top.
Hackers take control of ports by placing the most packets on them. They can also play a firewall on a port to block all other players from playing on that port. If a player is restricted by a opponent's firewall they may place a backdoor next to it to also be able to play on that port. Crafty hackers can also use spikes to their advantage by removing a die from the game. If a player manages to play a second firewall of their color then that port is locked down and no player may play anything on it (including spikes).
Each player starts with ten dice. At the beginning of the game the first player rolls to see how many ports there will be (from 2-4). Next the first player rolls 2 dice and places one on an open port. The next player rolls 3 dice and places one on the board. Play continues with each player rolling 3 dice and placing one until all players are out of dice or all ports are locked down.
The player with the most ports controlled wins. If there is a tie for ports controlled then the tied players count their total number of packets on their controlled ports. Whoever has the most packets wins.
