The Road Runner Game consists of a deck of cards and 8 flat cardboard cutout figures of The Road Runner and 1 Wile E. Coyote figure, both characters from the Warner Brothers cartoons.
The cards are numbered and have brightly colored and patterned backgrounds (one background per set of numbered cards). The cutouts are about 10 inches tall.
The Road Runner and Coyote cutouts are placed in the center of the table. One less Road Runner than there are number of people playing are used.
The players try to collect a full set of numbered cards. The first one to do so lays his cards down and grabs a Road Runner figure. Everyone else grabs a figure as quickly as possible. The last person to grab a cutout (or perhaps a faster person, but one who grabbed the wrong figure) gets the Coyote.
