Holotype: Mesozoic Europe (2024)

Holotype: Mesozoic Europe adds a whole new continent of Dinosaurs, Marine Reptiles, and Pterosaurs. It also introduces ancient Crocs with the new Specimen type of Crurotarsi. New mechanics like Focus Boards, Bone Beds and new Milestones add even more options that can be used with Europe or with North America. Focus Boards give each player unique starting bonuses as well as small goals that can be completed during the game for instant rewards and extra Victory Points at the end of the game. Bone Beds are a new type of card that can be gained via Field Expedition cards. They allow players to return to a location they discovered to extract a guaranteed type and amount of fossils on a later turn. With Europe and the Crurotarsi mini-expansion, 3 new Milestones are added to Holotype. These Milestones and new Variants can be used with any version of Holotype you are playing.
