Published in Wargames Illustrated 075, a very simple set of miniatures wargames rules aimed at mid C18 conflicts, including the Seven Years' War, the French & Indian Wars and the Jacobite Rebellions.
They are designed for quick battles, played to a conclusion, using a moderate number of units each with a small number of figures (e.g. 8 figs/infantry battalion). The key concept within the rules is to assume that obvious things are happening i.e. there is no 'musketry' sub-system, it is just assumed that if a unit is in effective range, it is firing. There are some optional rules for including command and control issues, and a few optional rules for specific conflicts.
