Treasure Hunters is played on a board of seven spaces arranged in a ring. The players move around this - one clockwise and one counterclockwise - picking up four different values of treasure.
Movement is done by playing cards - one player has all the black cards from a standard deck and the other has the red, with random hands drawn from each. Most cards move the player around the board, but court cards have special effects.
When a player lands on a space they take the least-valuable treasure there, generally speaking. At the end of a turn a player may turn over one treasure on the board; treasures that have been turned over are worth more.
When all the treasures have been taken or all cards have been played the player with the most points in treasures wins.
