From the introduction:
Welcome to Corvus Lunaris' The Priest and the Hangman. This product is intended as a standalone roleplaying encounter that can, if provoked, turn into a rather atypical combat situation.
Suitable for characters of 3rd-5th level, this pack contains statistics and roleplaying notes for several NPCs arguing over the life of a man accused of a murder, in a quandary designed to test the morals of the adventuring party, not merely their combat prowess.
Also included are inch-scale printable battlemaps to make life a little easier and, in case things do turn nasty, the statistics of the lynch mob – including brand new rules of how to run one, and how to modify them to suit the situation better.
