Maltfriend's Journey (2022)

Maltfriend's Journey is a roll-and-move game in which the players compete to build the most succesful whisky empire in Victorian Scotland (late 19th century). Players travel cross country along historical steam carriage, railway and ship routes to visit landmarks and famous destillery sites. During the game players will need to gain enough licenses to start destilleries and gather resources to do so. While travelling the country, players can choose between the short routes where they risk paying a fee to their competitors, or the longer, scenic routes, which may cost them valuable time. While Maltfriend's Journey is not a drinking game, it is a game with a mature theme, rich on history and information about historical Scotland.
