"Ordered to Die is a Dennis L. Bishop simulation of the November, 1915, battle of Ctesiphon in Iraq. A low-to-intermediate complexity, two-player, operational-level game, the players play British and Ottoman sides in the World War One engagement where the British attempted to capture the Ottoman entrenchments at Seimanpak Mayden Muharebesi on the drive to Baghdad. The map scale is two kilometers per hex. Each game turn represents three hours. Units of maneuver for both sides are infantry battalions and regiments, each representing between 250 and 1,000 men; artillery batteries, each with four to six guns; and groups of Arab tribesmen, each representing up to about 500 men. Components: * Two-Person or Solitaire * 4-Page Rules Manual * 68 5/8" Die-Cut Counters by Lionel Liron * 22" x 17" Full-Color Map by Tim Allen * Counter Identification Table from the publisher webpage "
