A game of life narrating the history of Pontremoli (town in Northern Tuscany) and its territory, from neolitic sculptures through medieval rivalries and ambulant book sellers, up to the twenty-first century, with the town still known as a "city of books".
Game-play follows standard game of life rules: players roll a die, move up their pawn a corresponding number of spaces on a 54 spaces track, and follow the instructions written on the space where their movement ends. Aim of the game is ending up on the very last (54th) space of the track.
Lavishly illustrated by artist Paola Colleoni and complemented by a booklet providing the players with accurate historical information about the game spaces.
