Dodecathlon (2024)

Six animals compete in twelve track & field events: 100m, 200m, 400m, relay, hurdles, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, discus, shot put, and javelin. Despite the fact that each animal uses a different dice, behaves differently and runs on a specialised lane, they all have the same probability of winning. During play, the players learn fundamental concepts of statistics (mean, variation, etc). Moreover, the game also teaches the difference between equality and justice (related to psychology). While all the animals are given the same velocity (translated by the mean), we also need to ensure that they all have the same winning chance by applying some important adjustments. The simple version includes pure luck. To add some strategy, there is also a complex version by using extra cards (lasso, dust, trap, and dino).
