Men of War: Central America Nicaragua-CONTRAS is Module 3
Standalone Solitaire Tactical Book Wargame designed to re-create modern low-intensity conflicts at the tactical level. Men of War is an infantry-centric, old-school hex and counter wargame system that mimics the nuances of modern small unit leadership, fire, and maneuver, primarily team and squad-based formations.
In this third installment of the series, “Nicaragua 1979-1990”-CONTRAS the player controls guerrilla forces led by Commander Zero and trained by U.S. Special Forces, backed by the United States intelligence in a controversial covert war against communist encroachment in Central America. CONTRAS are up against the disciplined, well-equipped, and well-trained Sandinista National Liberation Front or FSLN - Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional.
Lead CONTRA and U.S. Special Forces teams in missions across the Nicaragua/Honduras border.
