De Vloek op de Bib (2019)

De Vloek op de Bib (The Curse upon the Library) is an educational game developed at KU Leuven university. The educational purpose is to teach information literacy to bachelor students. The game mechanics are inspired on tabletop escape rooms (Escape Room: the game, Exit). The story throughout the game is about the curse on the library, cast by an ancient witch. Professor Cipherius has made it his life's work to break the curse, but he dies mysteriously just before announcing the solution. The players discover his notes and have to finish what the professor started. The game has three parts, focusing on these information skills: finding information, evaluating information and preventing plagiarism. —description from the designer
