"The object of the game is to manage a football team and take it from Division 4 to Division 1. To collect and make up a balanced team of players by buying and selling, and then to win the World Cup. Playing around the board progressing from Division 4 to Division 1 each manager has the opportunity to win money, buy players and play Leauge Cup games. Finally challenging any other managers to play the Final of The World Cup and win. Managers move around the board based on the role of the dice. Landing on different squares results in a choice of actions - taking cards, getting bonus payments, taking new players or challenging other managers to games. Managers may buy or sell players at any time throughout the game - with the ability of different players determining the outcome of matches. By winning matches, the managers team is promoted to a higher league and ends the game by achieving a win in the world cup final after reaching division one. "
