This is a fan made expansion for the game Ticket to Ride: Rails and Sails. The subject matter for the expansion is the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico. This expansion follows the basic rules of the game, but adds several features that address many of the criticisms of the original game. Included is a document that describes the original rules as well as the rules of this expansion. The additional features for the expansion include "non-traditional" routes that allow players to travel greater distances which simultaneously keeps more train and ship cards in circulation. The expansion rules also tweak the number of cards and vehicles you begin the game with. The expansion rules present an option for trading cards and drawing 2 wild card to further keep boat and train cards in circulation. The expansion rules streamline the harbor process that better keeps harbor cards in circulation. Finally the expansion rules streamline the scoring process. Includes a map to be printed, train and ship cards that can be printed and used (though players may use the train and ship cards that come with the original game if they choose,) 120 ticket cards to be printed, and the rules pdf.
