One of Haba's Mini-Spiels that come in a small tin (similar to an Altoids tin) and contain small wooden pieces.
Place the South Pole (lid) in the center of the playing area (smooth surface is best). Each player places one of their floes (each player has two) equidistant from the South Pole, approximately 12 inches away from the South Pole The floes should be within 4 inches of each other. Each player places their penguin on their floe.
Players take turns. On your first turn, place your second ice floe next to the South Pole and flick it with your shoving rod towrds your penguin. If it stops within a rod's length of your penguin, move your penguin to that floe - you will flick the floe the penguin moved from on your next turn. If it is farther than a rod's length, leave it where it stopped, and you will flick it again on your next turn.
You can bump your opponent's floes, but never flick them. If a penguin is bumped off a floe, just place the penguin back on. If you knock your own penguin off, flick from next to the South Pole on your next turn. If a floe is flicked off the playing surface, it starts from the South Pole on the player's next turn.
First penguin to the South Pole wins.
