ANGELS OF HEARTHFIRE The Xagwall have been around as long as the sun, some of the very first beings to come to Ghaistala. It was them coming down from the Sun and bringing light to the darkness of the night and fire and warmth to the cold that ensured the survival of species on the early planet. When the Toll wiped out all of humanoid life on Ghaistala the Xagwall left together to stay alive and waited out the years until new life began to find the planet. It was then they returned to repeat the cycle of bringing light and warmth. Being more ancient than most life on Ghaistala, many consider them beacons of wisdom, while others carry a high level of reverence for them and their commitment to the early life. Despite that, most Xagwali are humble by nature and see their work as just a facet of their lives, not as something great to be celebrated. More elusive now in the modern days of Ghaistala, you're more likely to find them away from bright and busy cities in the darker parts of the planet often in places that only their own light has ever touched.
