Robert at Bannockburn is a simulation of the battle between the Scottish and English armies on 24 June 1314, during Scotland's war of independence. The Battle of Bannockburn was of great importance as the Scottish victory there brought an end to English military domination of the Scottish lowlands, and secured King Robert Bruce's claim to the throne of Scotland.
Unit types in the game are: English infantry, Scottish schiltrom (pikemen), cavalry, English crossbow, English longbow, and Scottish shortbow. The game scale is approximately 70 yards per hex and 15 minutes per game-turn.
In addition to being published as a seperate game, Robert at Bannockburn was also published as part of SPI's Great Medieval Battles Quadrigame.
