Freedom! Station 4X gained independence from the Ormar Thalassocracy. You must use politics, technology, and dragon mechs to rebuild and lead the new post-colonial nation.
Cards are multi-use: Actions, locations, resources, reinforcements, goals.
Actions: You start with 2 cards in your action tableau (1 leader card and 1 tech). The power of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. Add cards here to expand and empower your choices.
Resources: Spend cards to play and upgrade action cards, locations, and reinforcements.
Locations: Add cards to the central map. Locations provide continual resources that give you discounts on action cards and reinforcements. But guard them well! They can be conquered by others.
Reinforcements: Cards may be played on locations to improve, defend, or conquer them.
Goals: Unused leader cards become goals for the game, keeping the win conditions for each game unique.
