Tyranid Swarm is one of four preconstructed Commander decks from Magic: The Gathering's "Universes Beyond" crossover with Warhammer 40,000, along with Forces of the Imperium, Necron Dynasties, and The Ruinous Powers. Each of the decks ties into one of the factions from the Warhammer 40,000 universe and is available in both a standard and a collector's edition; Tyranid Swarm is a green, blue, and red deck based on the Tyranids and led by The Swarmlord and Magus Lucca Kane.
The deck contains 100 cards, 1 foil-etched display commander, 10 double-sided tokens, 1 life tracker, and 1 deck box. The contents of the Collector's Edition are the same, except that all cards (including the tokens and the display commander) have a unique premium "Surge Foil" treatment.
