"User Summery:
When a local Duke decides to kidnap and ransom the leader of a mercenary group he's had under his employ in order to recoup some of his payroll, the Duke finds himself in a small war with a band of hardened fighters.
The Duke's forces include well-trained Humans and a small number of Dwarves while the Mercenaries contain a motley mix of Humans and Wood-elves. The Mercenaries main objective is to free their leader, L'Naiden, while the Duke is trying to hang on to the leader while crushing the Mercenaries.
This scenario appears in Red Giant (Volume 1, Number 2 - 1990) magazine.
