Sword & Spear - Individual Man-to-Man Combat in Ancient and Medieval Times
"Sword & Spear is a set of wargame rules for small skirmishes in the millennium before effective gunpowder weapons. Each player commands a small detachment (two to ten figures) in a battle of close-range missile and hand-to-hand combat. Although most attractive when played with metal or plastic painted figures mounted on stands, various substitutes or just the stands can be used instead." Includes section for "mythological gaming" of battles against creatures featured in myths and fantasy fiction.
24-page rulebook, including tables, for miniatures game.
