Renegade Realms: Gallebrann's Desolation (2025)

Once, the High Moors of Numeira were famed for their rough and rustic beauty, immortalised in the haunting landscape paintings of Nemostasim, and age-old poems such as “Arngrim’s Sons”, and “The Fall of the Elder Kings”. Today, those works are the sole remnants of a land lost to dragon-blight. Gallebrann's Desolation marks the third release in our ever-growing line of hex map tiles, allowing GMs to create, expand, and customise a unique and endless fantasy realm! When the great wyrm Gallebrann arose from centuries of slumber, it blighted the soil and skies with its deadly breath, birthing the waste that would bear its name forever after. Some say it was the clash of swords and the scent of blood spilt on the Winnowing Mire that awoke Gallebrann. Here, soldiers from Numeira clashed with the armies of Jin-Zi in a battle so violent the very soil was stained red with the blood of the slain. Although Jin-Zi’s castle was spared from Gallebrann’s wrath, its white walls have since begun fading into nothingness, leaving only the central spire looming over the waste to the Southwest. The Free City of Numeira was less fortunate and bore the full brunt of Gallebrann’s rage; its crumbling ruin languishes to the Southeast. Many believe Gallebrann abandoned its lair in the gorge, though others claim it now dwells in the nearby crater of Mount Claigeann. Six Adventure Sites: The Fading Tower,; a dying dreamscape.
