The Sexton Ranger Rangers are known for guarding the borders between developed areas and the wilderness around them, but some rangers devote themselves to guarding a different border, that between life and death. A sexton is a ranger who seeks to defend the line between life and death, and the places where this bridge occurs, sextons devote themselves to the preservation of graves and other places of rest, ensuring that graves are not robbed, and that those who die are given proper burials. Many of these rangers worship the Goddess Nephthys and seek to ensure that the wealth of the dead remains with their bodies as they pass on to the next life.
