A set of miniatures rules for gaming battles involving the French Foreign Legion, 1850-1930.
"This is a set of miniatures and role-playing rules, and as such has two separate combat systems. Although these systems are separate in the functions they fulfill, they are integrated in the sense that it allows an individual to take part in a larger action."
One of the combat systems governs "large scale battles", which use four figures to a stand for legionnaires and five to six figures to a stand for "native and rabble" units. The large scale battle system includes rules for ranged fire, melee fire, machine guns, and artillery.
The game includes two hex maps. One shows the layout of an Algerian village and the other is a map of a Foreign Legion fort.
