The base game of Colours and Shapes is an exciting 2-4 player game that can either be played in minutes, or for hours, requiring you to combine thoughtful strategy, luck, and in-your-face gameplay to create a fun, fast, and casual game that can be played anywhere, anytime.
Players decide whether to lay down sets of at least three of a kind, or push their luck to wait and lay down more than three. However, if they wait too long and get caught with cards, each one is -2 points. After playing certain sets, players may activate extra powers that stop their opponents from winning or help them move a step closer to victory.
