Towerblox is an early implementation of the block-stacking game that would be popularised by Jenga, but predating the release of that title by a year, and with 39 blocks to Jenga's 54. The packaging is in English and German, unusual for the early 1980s.
Gameplay is much like Jenga except the blocks are stacked on their sides, leaving space between them.
Published by Games Workshop, it was not a success on release. According to Ian Livingstone the rights to the game were sold to the creators of Kensington.
