The fun, piratical, fast-paced card game! There are treasures abound! It's every pirate for themselves with skulduggery and plunder.
The aim of the game is to collect and bury Treasure Cards. Buried Treasure Cards count towards your score. The first pirate to reach a score of 1500 points is the winner!
Starting from the youngest player, take turns in a clockwise direction. Play continues until one player has reached the winning condition
During a turn a player can perform TWO actions. There are FOUR legal actions: drawing, burying, piracy and wagering. Only TWO actions can be performed per turn. Any combination of actions can be taken during a turn.
Drawing: Player picks up one card from either piracy deck or treasure deck (keep piracy card hidden, but you must reveal treasure card).
Burying: Place one treasure card from hand onto the table face-up (cannot bury treasure gained within the same turn).
Piracy: Place one piracy card from hand onto the table and resolve its effect.
Wagering: Place any number of treasure cards onto the table and pick one opponent. Opponent must accept the wager and place down the same amount of treasure value. Rock-paper-scissors and winner takes all.
