Miniatures battle game for the 1700-1720 period in Europe (so principally the War of the Spanish Succession and the Great Northern War). The rules are based on those for Andy Callan's Loose Files and American Scramble, a AWI set.
The game aims to capture the transitional nature of early 18C warfare, one foot in the "pike & shot" era, one in the "horse and musket" period. Individual battalions and squadrons are represented, but the practical units of manoeuvre are brigades or even groups of brigades, allowing large battles to be fought in a timely manner.
