Similarly to the base game players journey round the board, buying properties (which in this case are scenes from the first and second films), charging rent and making deals.
The stations of the original game have been replaced by elements which allow players to teleport around the board. The utilities are “snowflake” spaces, which give the opportunity to tell a heart warming memory to gain the snowflake token, which then doubles the rent on one property.
