Hexad is one of the games in the "Quickles" set produced by Ashburn Industries in the late 1970s. Using a modified standard deck - cards numbered 1-12 in four suits, plus six wild cards - players attempt to reach the total given in the center first by using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the numbers in their hands. An advanced variant is offered wherein 2s can be used for square roots, 3s for cube roots, and so on.
