Tales from the Trail Vol II is a compendium for THE AFTER featuring a full plot point campaign that takes place over three unique and exciting adventures. We had a large amount of feedback from backers asking for a Savage Worlds plot point campaign so naturally we listened to our fans and got the ball rolling!
Each adventure will vary in tone and playing style, allowing the player characters to fight, explore, investigate and socialize their way through the challenges contained within.
From Beyond the Breach! - Written by Sean Nokes
In Wind River Valley, there is fire in the sky and the ground quakes with the approach of an old enemy. Terrible events are afoot and it falls to your heroes to decide the fate of humanity!
This thunderous Plot Point Campaign for THE AFTER begins when an aerial explosion sends ripples of Breach energy flooding into every corner of Wind River Valley. As civilized folk are still reeling from the blast, things everywhere go haywire! New Changed creatures howl from the shadows, Ferals attack with renewed fury, and the Gifted struggle to control their powers.
As the player characters scramble to respond to the cascade of emergencies, Wind River Valley’s many Factions demand attention. Will your party search for the source of the troubles on behalf of the Scouting Guild or seek to turn a profit with the Blackgold Trading Company? What will they do if the Star League offers a better price for them to turn their back on Chapter altogether?
The campaign’s adventures are divided into three phases that each allow for months of adventures to be played, making it easy to fold into an existing game’s timeline. Rather than force the group on a quest from point to point, they will have the opportunity to investigate at their own pace and form their own plans. As each phase of the campaign unfolds, new Breach effects will become more difficult to endure -- especially for the Gifted, as Backlash erupts in new and dangerous ways.
During the course of the campaign, player characters will have a chance to change the course of human history. Their efforts will make the difference between prosperity and extinction -- not just for Chapter, but the whole of Wind River Valley! Their struggles will determine which of the Factions of THE AFTER come out on top. They can earn the chance to influence the Elder Council of Chapter -- perhaps even to join it. Their heroism may turn the tides of war!
These high-stakes events are best enjoyed by a group of player characters of Veteran level or above.

The Player Characters are asked to travel far to the East of Chapter, to the small settlement of Tombstone within the Bones, a Breach changed valley named after the remains of strange and huge bones that can be found within.
