Character may come across pieces of junk floating in space. These pieces of junk might be found in orbit, near an old battle site or simply drifting between the stars and planets. If encountered at high enough speed, these items of junk have the potential to be dangerous. Otherwise they can simply be bits of random trash discovered during space travel, or perhaps as a source of adventure hooks.

Here are some sample results:
Screwdriver - An electric screwdriver with a pistol grip. Its battery is drained and the mechanism has seized through vacuum welding.
Slag - A fused lump of slag rock from a mining or smelting operation; all the valuable or useful materials have been extracted and what is left is useless rock.
Snap Clip - A snap clip of a type that would have be used with a safety line. The clip is broken, perhaps deliberately.
Solar Panel - A roughly 6’ long by 2’ wide fragment of a larger solar panel, this has clearly been damaged. Even with the damage, the panel still produces some power.
Solar Sail - This small flexible fragment is moving slowly along and almost seems to be fluttering in a breeze. This is a piece of solar sail, a reflective coating over a flexible surface that is only a couple of millimetres thick. The apparent fluttering, and the movement, is caused by the solar wind.
One page is the front cover, one the front matter and about half a page is ads.
