In Bärenspiel, players try to rescue a little bear lost in the great forest. Rolling special dice, players must first construct a map of the forest, find the bear, then help it out of the woods, working together to overcome one obstacle or another. Once the bear is located, players are allowed seven rolls of the dice to get it clear of the forest. If they fail to do so, they lose the game and the bear eats them.
The 2011 AMIGO edition is part of its "Ökologisch + Kooperativ" (Ecological & Cooperative) line of games.
