Scandinavia (1996)

1997 BC, the Old World is at dawn of known Antic times... in those backwards times, in mythical Scandinavia, six great kingdoms coexist, inhabited by heroic fantasy creatures. You are the overlord of one of them. Your aim: increase as best as possible the prosperity of your realm and extend your powers of domination. To achieve your target, you must cleverly manage your kingdom, timely tax your villagers, negociate alliances with other lords and enter trade to enrich your vast estates. You can also try to conquer new areas to enlarge your territory, while protecting your villages and your lands by raising armies. Castles, windmilla, camps, fortifications, drakkars, merchant guilds, trade goods, ports; you might wish to build so your reign is better appreciated. Honoring the gods and obtaining magic powers is also important in those mythical time: build temples and sanctuaries in your marvelous land... You may be a Viking Lord, an Elfic Prince, Grand Priest of Chaos or Princess Sandra... then you might become the legitimate successor of Helric, anew mythical king, beloved of the Gods and worthy of legends to come...
