Colonial Wars (2010)

Sci-fi miniature wargame set in a cruent XII century universe. Players engage in battles on planet surfaces commanding armies belonging to several warring parties, such as Terrax (humans), Torek and Sarmath. The game is designed for quick matches which usually does not exceed one hour in duration. Battle resolutions are calculated using just 6-sided dice. Victory is achieved by fulfilling randomly-selected objectives which are defined at the start of the game (one main objective and several secondary ones). During a game players alternate in activating one unit each until all of them have moved and a game turn is completed. Each unit can execute up to 2 orders with an activation, while elite units can execute up to three actions with a single activation. Colonial Wars is played using 20 mm custom miniatures (unpainted), available in thematic blisters.
