Happy Village is a real-time competitive card game about protecting a village from flooding using nature-based solutions. Players must negotiate and trade cards to play in their village. The first player to trade and play all their cards is the winner.
Happy Village is the first game from the Craft My Street research project at University College Dublin. It aims to create an engaging ice-breaking experience to prepare players for the other games, introducing some fundamental concepts of nature-based solutions. However, it can be played independently.
The game is a free print-and-play game that requires only a set of cards, one deck per player.
