Optional Rules for Incorporating the Tarokka Deck into your Campaign
This product introduces three ways of using the Tarokka Deck during play. While designed with the Ravenloft Campaign Setting in mind, these options could be added to any D&D campaign.
Note: Use of a physical Tarokka deck is assumed (and encouraged).
The included options are:
Plot Cards. Tarokka cards are played to alter the narrative in minor ways.
Tarokka Inspiration. Cards are used in place of the regular inspiration rules, with two variants provided for handling the cards.
Adventure Aspects. Cards are drawn at the start of each session, adding elements to the narrative.
