Aragon 1938 (Aragón ’38) is a two player wargame simulating the Nationalist Spring 1938 offensive in Eastern Aragon, Valencia and Catalonia, from March to May 1938. Historically, the Nationalist armies (reinforced by an Italian motorized corps and German air units) inflicted a major defeat to the Ejército Popular de la República (EPR), reaching the Mediterranean and dividing the territory of the Republic in two halves. It was one of the most successful campaigns of the civil war, both in terms of territory conquered and units destroyed or routed.
Aragón '38 reimplements the Santander '37 game system published by Snafu Design. In this game, the Nationalist player is generally on the offensive, although the Republican Player will receive major reinforcements with which it can launch powerful counteroffensives or consolidate the frontlines, including the International Brigades or the best units of the Republican Army.
